Circa 1840-1850 Ames Militia Staff With Star in Crossguard. Excellent example with much frosting remaining on blade and nearly all original gilt on hilt and scabbard. Missing throat but complete with chain. Longitudinal crack on each side of bone grip. Blades is smooth with scattered staining.
A lot of sword for the money.
