Caliber 11mm Pinfire. Serial number 33441. Barrel 6 1/4" round. Desireable barrel marking "INVon E. LEFAUCHEUX BRle PARIS". 6 Shot round cylinder, 2 Piece walnut grips with lanyard ring attached to metal buttcap.
Cylinger retains 80% bright blue with light pitting along one chamber only. Barrel and action have dull fading finish with scattered spots of freckling. Hammer and recoil shields have nice traces of case color visible. Grips have spots of finish loss & handling marks. Bore has good rifling with areas of very light pitting.
A fine example that is well within the Confederate range.
