Fine Original Palmetto Cavalry Saber with correct Columbia, S.C. marking on blade ricasso. Nice original grip complete with 100% original leather and double twisted wire. Pleasing color and perfect form brass hilt. Has some remnants of the super thin original washer. Nice 37 inch blade has but few very minor knicks. Correct scabbard with single riviet at throat. Scabbard has a nice patina color with wear and some pitting near drag.
