Rare Circa 1815-1830 Independent Corps of Cadets Cross Belt Plate. Ex. Norm Flaydermann. Plate is pictured and published on page 431 of 'American Military Belt Plates' by O'Donnell & Campbell.
It is one of first American military plates to exhibit two piece construction of brass and tin. Only a handful or less of this pattern survive.
