Confederate Short Artillery Sword. Copy of the US model 1833 short artillery sword. Maker unknown. 18 1/2 inch blade with single fuller. Most of the original tool marks are visible with scattered stains, pin-prick pitting and a couple of minor edge knicks. Solid cast hilt with fish scale grip left as cast. Hilt appears to have been gilt at some point. Fine example in great condition.
