Fine Star in Pommel CS Short Sword With Scabbard. This is the nicest example of this pattern we‘ve had in a long time. Rare to find with complete original brass mounted scabbard. 

Sword is in excellent condition. 18 1/2 inch blade with single fuller has a nice smooth grey color throughout its length. Hilt features crudely cast block ‘CS’ letters on each side of cross guard. It has typical numerous casting flaws some filled with lead as manufactured.

Tooled leather scabbard retains most of its original polished surface with crazing more noticeable in the lower 1/3. The seam along reverse is split but the remaining stitching is strong. Scabbard mounts have a nice dark patina.
