Confederate Wood Scabbard Cavalry Saber. These are believed to be the the product of KG&K of Columbia, S.C. Their Confederate origin is unquestioned and difficult to find in this condition with a nice scabbard.
35 1/4 inch blade with minor staining and pinprick pitting. Much of the original polishing and tool marks are visible. Leather washer is in place and the hilt is tight. The grip is a perfect professional restoration using the original iron wire it was found with.
