Confederate Kenansville Staff Officers Sword with 'CSA' In Ribbon. This fine example has nearly full coverage of its original reddish brown lacquer on the lap seamed scabbard. 100% original wire. Polished leather wrap is solid with some minor chips. Great patina on the brass mounts and guard. 39 inches over all with 31 inch blade. Original blade washer is present. 

This is one of the toughest Kenansville swords to find. In the best reference book on Kenansville arms the authors know of only 18 examples of the this pattern and this number includes those that are known in museums.
