Nearly full coverage of its original reddish brown lacquer. 100% original wire and wrap is near perfect, great patina on the brass mounts and guard. 36 inches over all with 28 inch blade.

This is one of the toughest Kenansville swords to find. In the best reference book on Kenansville arms the authors know of only 18 examples of the this pattern and this number includes those that are known in museums.

This is a wonderful sword and arguably may be the best one in existence.
