Relic British Naval Cutlass Hilt, second half 18th century, the hilt of "double disk" form with rolled quillon, significantly deformed likely from being stuck by a large artillery projectile, overall lg. 9 3/4 in. 

Hilt is deformed from impact with significant bends and splits, surface has moderate pitting and some loss due to pitting around the edges.
